About room2let

room2let is a short-term rental marketplace built for Greece. We connect travellers with Greek hosts — for weekends in Athens, summer holidays in the Cyclades, business trips to Thessaloniki, and longer stays anywhere on the mainland or the islands.

Why we built this

International marketplaces don't treat Greece as a first-class destination — tourist tax handling, Greek-speaking support, and local cancellation expectations are usually afterthoughts. room2let starts from the opposite premise: Greek-first content, Greek tourist tax configured per region by default, and a transparent fee structure you can see before you list.

Where your data lives

• Application + database: EU (Frankfurt / Athens region)
• Photo storage: S3-compatible EU provider
• Payments: Stripe (Ireland + US, under EU Standard Contractual Clauses)
• Email: EU-region transactional provider

Compliance

We operate under GDPR (EU 2016/679) and Greek law. Self-serve data export and account deletion are available from your profile.
